MEET KAMESHA BASS, MA, LPCMHSP, NCC
A COUNSELOR WHO UNDERSTANDS THAT EVERY STORY IS DIFFERENT
Kamesha Bass, MA, LPCMHSP, NCC
Welcome, I am so glad you are here!
I believe healing begins when we feel safe enough to be honest about our experiences.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy is more than addressing problems - it’s about creating a space where you can reconnect with yourself, gain clarity, and move toward the life you want to create.
I became a therapist because I believe every person deserves a space where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create change. My role is not to tell you who to become, but to walk alongside you as you gain insight, build resilience, and reconnect with your own strengths.
I know reaching out for support can feel vulnerable. Many of the individuals I work with are used to being the strong one, carrying responsibilities, caring for others, and pushing through challenges while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. My goal is to provide a space where you can slow down, be honest about your experiences, and feel supported without judgment.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed interventions, mindfulness, solution-focused, strength-based practices, and Gottman Method techniques to help clients develop insight, strengthen relationships, navigate life transitions, and create meaningful change.
I have experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and military-connected individuals through challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. As a clinician with a military-informed approach, I understand the unique experiences, demands, and transitions that can come with military life.
At Inner Will Counseling, my mission is to help you rediscover your strengths, build confidence in yourself, and reconnect with the part of you that has always been capable of growth and healing. You do not have to navigate this season alone - It would be a privilege to provide a thoughtful, intentional space for your healing and growth.

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither are you. I thoughtfully blended Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method techniques, mindfulness, solution focused therapy and trauma informed care to create an approach tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we will move beyond surviving and toward meaningful, lasting growth.

Therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out. At Inner Will Counseling, clients are encouraged to speak openly, explore what they're experiencing, and make sense of the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be affecting their lives.
Kamesha takes a collaborative and compassionate approach, meeting each client with curiosity and respect. Whether you're working through a difficult season or simply want to better understand yourself, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and move forward at your own pace.
-
I help adolescents, adults and couples navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life's transitions, Together, we will create a thoughtful, supportive space where you feel truly seen, gain practical tools, and build lasting change so you can reconnect with yourself and the life you want.

I believe you already have the strength to heal - sometimes you just need a safe place to rediscover it. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, intention, and practical support as you reconnect with your inner will. If you are ready to take that first step, I would be honored to walk beside you.
YOUR STORY MATTERS
Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to minimize it, explain it away, or have everything figured out before reaching out. Your experiences, emotions, relationships, and challenges deserve space to be understood.
At Inner Will Counseling, therapy begins with meeting you where you are. Whether you're navigating a difficult season, working through something from the past, experiencing changes in your relationships or life, or simply feeling ready for something to be different, there is room for your story here.
You don't have to know exactly what you need before you begin. Sometimes, taking the first step is simply being willing to talk about where you are.
Your story matters. Your experiences matter.
